Code, Business Regulation § 11–831","heading":"","body":"The Commission shall include in its annual report to the Legislative Policy Committee of the Maryland General Assembly:\n(1) the effect of satellite simulcast betting on the racing industry in the State;\n(2) an appraisal of each permit holder, taking into consideration the results of inspections required under this section and any financial information that is submitted to the Commission;\n(3) if any additional permit has been granted under this section:\n(i) the reasons for granting the permit; and\n(ii) the anticipated impact of the new facility on existing permit holders and racing licensees; and\n(4) if an application for a permit or permit renewal has been denied:\n(i) the reasons for denying the permit or renewal; and\n(ii) the impact on racing licensees if the Commission denied a permit renewal application.","path":["Article - Business Regulation"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gbr\u0026section=11-831","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:23Z","sha256":"97009b2d2a4cee88ed98a78dcf257cc25a7b5fa907e2e076f81ea8034bd50721","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-business-regulation-11-830","next":"us-md/md.-code-business-regulation-11-832"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
