Code, Business Regulation § 12.5–210","heading":"","body":"(a) Each licensee shall display the license conspicuously in the place of business of the licensee.\n(b) A licensee and an employee of a licensee shall:\n(1) carry a valid photo identification card issued by a licensed locksmith under § 12.5–207 of this subtitle at all times the licensee or employee of a licensee is engaged in providing locksmith services; and\n(2) display the valid photo identification card as required by regulation.\n(c) If a photo identification card is lost or destroyed, the licensee immediately shall notify the licensed locksmith that issued the photo identification card.\n(d) (1) To change the name of a licensee on a license, a licensee shall submit to the Secretary:\n(i) an application on the form provided by the Secretary;\n(ii) the license of the licensee;\n(iii) any documentation about the name change that the Secretary requires; and\n(iv) the fee set by the Secretary.\n(2) On receipt of the application, fee, and any required documentation, the Secretary shall issue a new license bearing the new name of the licensee.","path":["Article - Business Regulation"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gbr\u0026section=12.5-210","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:23Z","sha256":"78262ca373d6d3d6ba559d4cc55f7b359c9ec1b832aad44c1810e6cad1e42a40","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-business-regulation-12.5-209","next":"us-md/md.-code-business-regulation-12.5-211"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
