Code, Business Regulation § 16–207","heading":"","body":"(a) Unless a license is renewed for a 1–year term as provided in this section, the license expires on the first April 30 after its effective date.\n(b) At least 1 month before a license issued under this subtitle expires, the issuing official shall mail to the licensee, at the last known address of the licensee, a renewal notice that states:\n(1) the date on which the current license expires;\n(2) the date by which the issuing official must receive the renewal application for the renewal to be issued and mailed before the license expires; and\n(3) the amount of the renewal fee.\n(c) Before a license issued under this subtitle expires, the licensee may renew it for an additional 1–year term, if the licensee:\n(1) otherwise is entitled to be licensed;\n(2) submits to the issuing official a renewal application on the form that the issuing official requires; and\n(3) pays to the issuing official:\n(i) the license fee required under § 16–204 of this subtitle; and\n(ii) if the license is issued by the Executive Director, the renewal fee required under § 16–204(h) of this subtitle.\n(d) The issuing official shall renew the license of each licensee who meets the requirements of this section.","path":["Article - Business Regulation"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gbr\u0026section=16-207","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:23Z","sha256":"052e54bf22f7950c0c0d806ee430c3e59bc805a59c862527b1e8cc545fb115a3","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-business-regulation-16-206","next":"us-md/md.-code-business-regulation-16-208"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
