Code, Business Regulation § 16.7–213","heading":"","body":"(a) A person may not ship, import, or sell into or within the State any electronic smoking devices unless the person holds any license required by this subtitle.\n(b) A person that ships, imports, or sells electronic smoking devices into or within the State:\n(1) shall comply with any federal and State requirements concerning the placement of warning labels or other information on the containers or individual packages of electronic smoking devices; and\n(2) shall ensure that the containers or individual packages of electronic smoking devices do not contain any information or markings that are false, misleading, or contrary to:\n(i) federal trademark laws; or\n(ii) the trademark law of the State under Title 1, Subtitle 4 of this article.\n(c) A person that ships, imports, or sells electronic smoking devices into or within the State in violation of this section is subject to disciplinary action by the Executive Director under § 16.7–207 of this subtitle.","path":["Article - Business Regulation"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gbr\u0026section=16.7-213","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:23Z","sha256":"82d377bcd3a81c35b1b4b58c55171c3bd887e87261e31b6f52059c418965b9cb","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-business-regulation-16.7-212","next":"us-md/md.-code-business-regulation-16.7-213.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
