Code, Business Regulation § 20–305","heading":"","body":"(a) On receipt of a complete national and State criminal record report from the Central Repository in accordance with § 20–304 of this subtitle, the Secretary shall issue a license to each applicant who meets the requirements of this subtitle.\n(b) The Secretary may not issue a license for an address that is:\n(1) a hotel or motel room;\n(2) a motor vehicle; or\n(3) a post office box.\n(c) The Secretary may not issue more than one license for a single business location.\n(d) The Secretary may not issue a license to a minor.\n(e) Whenever a license is suspended or revoked, another license may not be issued to a buyer for the same business location.\n(f) A license authorizes the licensee to do business as a buyer only at the address for which the license is issued.","path":["Article - Business Regulation"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gbr\u0026section=20-305","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:23Z","sha256":"d6054f9c4b9f0a9ef8db948ab6cce4f07cbe5c3ee927b085725f0466efefb374","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-business-regulation-20-304","next":"us-md/md.-code-business-regulation-20-306"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
