Code, Business Regulation § 3–503","heading":"","body":"(a) (1) In this section the following words have the meanings indicated.\n(2) “Bungee jump” means jumping or falling by an individual from a height while attached to a rope or cord that is elastic, rubber, or latex.\n(3) “Bungee jumping operation” means an operation that allows an individual to bungee jump for a fee or dues.\n(b) A person may not conduct a bungee jumping operation.\n(c) A person who violates subsection (b) of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and, on conviction, is subject to a fine not exceeding $2,500 or imprisonment not exceeding 6 months or both.","path":["Article - Business Regulation"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gbr\u0026section=3-503","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:23Z","sha256":"9bef2d41aac9131027eea85c95274acfd4be0c1831cb3464821dfbfdfca5d32c","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-business-regulation-3-502","next":"us-md/md.-code-business-regulation-3-504"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
