Code, Business Regulation § 4–204","heading":"","body":"(a) (1) A majority of the authorized membership of the Commission is a quorum.\n(2) The Commission may not act unless a majority of the authorized membership concurs.\n(b) The Commission shall set the times and places of its meetings.\n(c) (1) The chairman of the Commission is entitled to:\n(i) an annual salary of $6,000; and\n(ii) reimbursement for expenses under the Standard State Travel Regulations, as provided in the State budget.\n(2) Each other member of the Commission is entitled to:\n(i) an annual salary of $4,000; and\n(ii) reimbursement for expenses under the Standard State Travel Regulations, as provided in the State budget.\n(d) While in office, each member of the Commission shall be covered by a surety bond or an insurance policy of the type and in the amount of coverage determined by the State Treasurer under § 5–108 of the State Government Article.\n(e) The Commission may employ a staff in accordance with the State budget.\n(f) The Commission shall have its general offices in Baltimore City.","path":["Article - Business Regulation"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gbr\u0026section=4-204","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:23Z","sha256":"dfaab3b3b259393ae7367d76458905a6254955c26dc699504532bb17f3466fa8","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-business-regulation-4-203","next":"us-md/md.-code-business-regulation-4-205"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
