Code, Business Regulation § 4–205","heading":"","body":"(a) The Commission shall control and have jurisdiction over all contests held in the State.\n(b) The Commission may:\n(1) adopt regulations to administer its office;\n(2) administer oaths; and\n(3) issue subpoenas for the attendance of witnesses to testify or to produce evidence.\n(c) The Commission shall:\n(1) adopt a seal;\n(2) adopt regulations to carry out this subtitle and Subtitle 3 of this title;\n(3) keep a record of its proceedings;\n(4) keep at its general offices all its books, documents, and papers; and\n(5) prepare notices and other papers for service.","path":["Article - Business Regulation"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gbr\u0026section=4-205","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:23Z","sha256":"97094f62cd540bc0592391fd169aed78a2f3482697780276c1052c3a002cb8e4","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-business-regulation-4-204","next":"us-md/md.-code-business-regulation-4-206"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
