Code, Business Regulation § 4–301","heading":"","body":"(a) In this subtitle, “license” means a license issued by the Commission.\n(b) In this subtitle, “license” includes:\n(1) a license to participate as a boxer in a contest;\n(2) a license to participate as a professional kick boxer in a contest;\n(3) a license to participate as an amateur kick boxer in a contest;\n(4) a license to participate as a wrestler in a contest;\n(5) a license to participate as a professional mixed martial arts contestant in a contest;\n(6) a license to participate as an amateur mixed martial arts contestant in a contest;\n(7) a license to act as a manager for a contestant;\n(8) a license to act as a referee in a contest;\n(9) a license to act as a judge in a contest;\n(10) a license to act as a second in a contest;\n(11) a license to act as a matchmaker of a contest; and\n(12) a license to act as a promoter of a contest.","path":["Article - Business Regulation"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gbr\u0026section=4-301","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:23Z","sha256":"d523340a389f34948dd6919ed6e1f5a65aff0157fc17e1e385bd93ca82e3f532","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-business-regulation-4-208","next":"us-md/md.-code-business-regulation-4-302"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
