Code, Business Regulation § 5–802","heading":"","body":"(a) Within 1,000 yards of Druid Hill Park:\n(1) a cemetery corporation may not allow burial or establish or maintain a cemetery; and\n(2) a person may not participate in any way in a burial in a cemetery of a cemetery corporation.\n(b) A person may not cause a funeral procession to or from a cemetery of a cemetery corporation to pass through Druid Hill Park without the written permission of the Department of Recreation and Parks.\n(c) A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and, on conviction, is subject to a fine not exceeding $100 or imprisonment not exceeding 10 days or both.","path":["Article - Business Regulation"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gbr\u0026section=5-802","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:23Z","sha256":"564307a7640fcd64d9c55001f4de734a9e55d7c757636ebd622f0ca901da905e","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-business-regulation-5-801","next":"us-md/md.-code-business-regulation-5-803"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
