Code, Business Regulation § 8–305","heading":"","body":"(a) Within 30 days after the first meeting of the Commission after submission of a completed application, the Commission shall notify an applicant in writing:\n(1) whether the application for a license is approved or denied; and\n(2) of the reasons for denial, if the application is denied.\n(b) (1) If the application is denied, the applicant, within 10 days after the notice of denial is mailed, may request a hearing.\n(2) The hearing shall be held in accordance with § 8-312 of this subtitle within 30 days after the date that the Commission receives the request.\n(3) The Commission shall make a decision within a reasonable time, but not later than 60 days after the hearing.","path":["Article - Business Regulation"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gbr\u0026section=8-305","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:23Z","sha256":"11a07285cfab25e636faa0ed1316d3390ede6f44e685ab06050a85fd738ce6f7","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-business-regulation-8-303","next":"us-md/md.-code-business-regulation-8-306"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
