Code, Commercial Law § 11–810","heading":"","body":"(a) After a sale of goods consigned for sale by a person in this State to a person engaged in the business of selling goods on consignment, the consignee shall transmit to the consignor within 24 hours after the sale a full account of the sale, including:\n(1) The amount and price of the goods sold; and\n(2) The name and address of the purchaser, including the house or business number, street, and city.\n(b) A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to a fine of $5 for each violation, and court costs.","path":["Article - Commercial Law"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gcl\u0026section=11-810","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:33Z","sha256":"d81475021cce083096fa51a520d85ad48be6cf5bfb8f4a20c51d7b34409baed5","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-commercial-law-11-809","next":"us-md/md.-code-commercial-law-11-8a-01"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
