Code, Commercial Law § 13–404","heading":"","body":"(a) Notwithstanding any other provision of this title, the Division may enter into an agreement with a person in the State to submit a dispute arising under this title to arbitration in accordance with the Maryland Uniform Arbitration Act.\n(b) (1) The Division may administer a program of voluntary arbitration of consumer disputes, including:\n(i) The recruitment and training of volunteer arbitrators; and\n(ii) The education of the public and business community as to the benefits of arbitration.\n(2) The Division shall provide clerical help and office space for arbitration tribunals.","path":["Article - Commercial Law"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gcl\u0026section=13-404","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:33Z","sha256":"169022fda8ed31571e2f5df6ee84586ba1e24257f1ccfc2ab297a353144e5b55","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-commercial-law-13-403","next":"us-md/md.-code-commercial-law-13-405"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
