Code, Commercial Law § 22–705","heading":"","body":"If an agreement grants a right in or permission to use informational rights which precedes or is otherwise independent of the delivery of a copy, the following rules apply:\n(1) A party may refuse a tender of a copy which is a material breach as to that copy, but refusal of that tender does not cancel the contract.\n(2) In a case governed by paragraph (1) of this subsection, the tendering party may cure the breach by seasonably providing a conforming copy before the breach becomes material as to the whole contract.\n(3) A breach that is material with respect to a copy allows cancellation of the contract only if the breach cannot be seasonably cured and is a material breach of the whole contract.","path":["Article - Commercial Law"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gcl\u0026section=22-705","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:33Z","sha256":"f7a68c226c41a5406bec461355a01a427fb03eca659b9ab174a615edcbd21766","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-commercial-law-22-704","next":"us-md/md.-code-commercial-law-22-706"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
