Code, Corporations and Associations § 5–310","heading":"","body":"(a) If any contest arises over the voting rights or the fair conduct of an election:\n(1) Each contending party shall appoint one individual from among the members of a neighboring church of the same religious persuasion or, if there is no such church, from among the members of any other church; and\n(2) The two appointed individuals shall select a third, similarly qualified, individual.\n(b) The arbitrators shall meet at the place where the contest arose and hear and determine the matter.\n(c) The judgment or award of a majority of the arbitrators, signed and acknowledged by them, is final.","path":["Article - Corporations and Associations"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gca\u0026section=5-310","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:43Z","sha256":"08b7f7b4c3962f6645a175ebdf03ce18adb007316a6772a502d82c287344a7ea","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-corporations-and-associations-5-309","next":"us-md/md.-code-corporations-and-associations-5-311"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
