Code, Corporations and Associations § 5–507","heading":"","body":"(a) Any Maryland corporation organized under the Maryland General Corporation Law which does or intends to do business on a cooperative basis may convert itself into a cooperative by amending and restating its charter in accordance with Title 2, Subtitle 6 of this article.\n(b) The articles of amendment and restatement shall:\n(1) State that the corporation elects to become a cooperative under this subtitle;\n(2) Make every change in the charter necessary to become a cooperative; and\n(3) Contain a complete restatement of the charter as amended.","path":["Article - Corporations and Associations"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gca\u0026section=5-507","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:43Z","sha256":"99ef4c9b4d9ec7761883aae3422dac9a949f932c22e89799ca96fff53cb66c19","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-corporations-and-associations-5-506","next":"us-md/md.-code-corporations-and-associations-5-508"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
