Code, Correctional Services § 10–304","heading":"","body":"The Board shall administer benefits as provided under this subtitle to an individual who, while an incarcerated individual in the Patuxent Institution, the Baltimore City Detention Center, or a correctional facility in the Division of Correction:\n(1) was engaged in work for which wages or a stipulated sum of money was paid by a correctional facility; and\n(2) sustained a permanent partial disability or permanent total disability:\n(i) as a result of a personal injury arising out of and in the course of work for which wages or a stipulated sum of money was paid by a correctional facility; and\n(ii) that incapacitated the individual or materially reduced the individual’s earning power in that type of work.","path":["Article - Correctional Services"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gcs\u0026section=10-304","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:53Z","sha256":"00a4028dd8dfe8bde232de048358ef94a723c02428ca09fbe717f1dcda810504","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-correctional-services-10-303","next":"us-md/md.-code-correctional-services-10-305"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
