Code, Correctional Services § 10–309","heading":"","body":"(a) (1) A claimant aggrieved by a final determination of the Board may file a petition for judicial review in the circuit court of the county where the injury occurred or where the claimant resides.\n(2) The Board may be a party to the action.\n(b) The circuit court may:\n(1) affirm the Board’s determination;\n(2) reverse or modify a determination it finds to be arbitrary or unreasonable; or\n(3) remand the case and direct the Board to consider the matter further or make additional findings of fact.\n(c) The claimant or the Board may appeal a decision of the circuit court to the Appellate Court of Maryland.","path":["Article - Correctional Services"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gcs\u0026section=10-309","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:53Z","sha256":"0e3c87f95ea7539c56f0b55ef360fe57d397e6dd78f421b57e5f1235b348764d","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-correctional-services-10-308","next":"us-md/md.-code-correctional-services-10-310"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
