Code, Correctional Services § 11–719","heading":"","body":"(a) This section applies only in Queen Anne’s County.\n(b) While confined in the Queen Anne’s County Jail, an incarcerated individual employed under § 11–602 of this title shall pay:\n(1) court–ordered payments, including restitution payments; and\n(2) the reasonable cost of the food, lodging, and clothing of the incarcerated individual.\n(c) The County Commissioners shall:\n(1) establish a reasonable per diem rate for the food, lodging, and clothing of an incarcerated individual; and\n(2) designate the Warden of the Queen Anne’s County Jail as the agent to collect the costs and payments specified in this section.","path":["Article - Correctional Services"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gcs\u0026section=11-719","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:53Z","sha256":"a2a9be08e529768d8a7094986aeb4cad8389b801924643f2f8daff30e5f6166e","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-correctional-services-11-718","next":"us-md/md.-code-correctional-services-11-720"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
