Code, Correctional Services § 8–705","heading":"","body":"(a) A nonprofit charitable institution, public association, community service association, or governmental unit may provide work projects for a community service program.\n(b) (1) A participating agency shall provide, on a written form, any information useful for assigning a juvenile or defendant to an appropriate work project, including:\n(i) a description of the work project;\n(ii) the days of the week and the hours of each day that each work project is to be performed;\n(iii) special skills or physical requirements to perform the work project; and\n(iv) for a work project of limited duration, the date when the availability of the project expires.\n(2) A participating agency shall send the form to the clerks of court.","path":["Article - Correctional Services"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gcs\u0026section=8-705","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:56:53Z","sha256":"53e97b86fa910809f40383d7afa31b46401950da70317abb172b28f7fe33020d","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-correctional-services-8-704","next":"us-md/md.-code-correctional-services-8-706"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
