Code, Courts and Judicial Proceedings § 3–2002","heading":"","body":"(a) A collaborative law participation agreement shall:\n(1) Be in a record;\n(2) Be signed by the parties;\n(3) State the parties’ intention to resolve a collaborative matter through a collaborative law process under this subtitle;\n(4) Describe the nature and scope of the matter;\n(5) Identify the collaborative lawyer who represents each party in the process; and\n(6) Contain a statement by each collaborative lawyer confirming the lawyer’s representation of a party in the collaborative law process.\n(b) The parties may agree to include in a collaborative law participation agreement additional provisions consistent with this subtitle.","path":["Article - Courts and Judicial Proceedings"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gcj\u0026section=3-2002","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:03Z","sha256":"fe09c763adb15d03ec36b3c9ee28d86fb666785c253ec08232f4515af6b803b2","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-courts-and-judicial-proceedings-3-2001","next":"us-md/md.-code-courts-and-judicial-proceedings-3-2003"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
