Code, Courts and Judicial Proceedings § 3–2503","heading":"","body":"(a) (1) Subject to paragraph (2) of this subsection, the Attorney General, a county attorney, or the Baltimore City Solicitor may bring an action against a firearm industry member for a public nuisance caused by a violation of § 3–2502 of this subtitle.\n(2) In an action brought under this subsection, the Attorney General, county attorney, or Baltimore City Solicitor may seek:\n(i) Injunctive relief;\n(ii) Restitution;\n(iii) Compensatory and punitive damages;\n(iv) Reasonable attorney’s fees and costs; and\n(v) Any other appropriate relief.\n(b) A party seeking relief under this section is not required to prove that a firearm industry member acted with the intent to violate this subtitle.","path":["Article - Courts and Judicial Proceedings"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gcj\u0026section=3-2503","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:03Z","sha256":"8ee6f47680f969acb3c71b010f422c8edcbe069675c3e45d9e9a86e937241516","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-courts-and-judicial-proceedings-3-2502","next":"us-md/md.-code-courts-and-judicial-proceedings-3-2504"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
