Code, Criminal Law § 11–304","heading":"","body":"(a) A person may not receive or acquire money or proceeds from the earnings of a person engaged in prostitution with the intent to:\n(1) promote a crime under this subtitle;\n(2) profit from a crime under this subtitle; or\n(3) conceal or disguise the nature, location, source, ownership, or control of money or proceeds of a crime under this subtitle.\n(b) A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to imprisonment not exceeding 10 years or a fine not exceeding $10,000 or both.\n(c) A person who violates this section is subject to § 5-106(b) of the Courts Article.","path":["Article - Criminal Law"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gcr\u0026section=11-304","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:08Z","sha256":"8d462501fd1444d0cc3e91226f768f72250373d4b2c1fdd4ca7e30e577e0742a","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-criminal-law-11-303","next":"us-md/md.-code-criminal-law-11-305"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
