Code, Criminal Law § 12–308","heading":"","body":"Notwithstanding any other provisions of this subtitle, an entity licensed to offer instant bingo under a commercial bingo license on July 1, 2007, or by a qualified organization as defined in § 13–201 of this article on the premises of the qualified organization may continue to operate a game of instant bingo in the same manner using electronic machines, provided that:\n(1) (i) the machines were in operation for a 1–year period ending December 31, 2007; or\n(ii) the machines were in operation under a commercial bingo license on December 31, 2007;\n(2) the entity does not operate more than the number of electronic machines in operation on February 28, 2008; and\n(3) the conduct of the gaming and operation of the machines are consistent with all other provisions of this article.","path":["Article - Criminal Law"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gcr\u0026section=12-308","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:08Z","sha256":"cfd6b50641417bf14f3eb9df41dc80f75d624e5ce08f30bb0846cdb3a7b65847","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-criminal-law-12-307","next":"us-md/md.-code-criminal-law-13-101"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
