Code, Criminal Law § 13–1501","heading":"","body":"(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.\n(b) “Bingo”:\n(1) includes instant bingo; but\n(2) does not include members-only instant bingo.\n(c) “50/50” means a drawing from a finite number of chances in which the proceeds from the sale of chances are split evenly between the winner and the organization conducting the game.\n(d) “Gaming event” means bingo, members-only instant bingo, a raffle, or a paddle wheel.\n(e) “Members-only instant bingo” means an instant bingo game that is limited to members and guests of an organization listed in § 13-1503(b) of this subtitle.\n(f) “Sheriff” means the Sheriff of Harford County.","path":["Article - Criminal Law"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gcr\u0026section=13-1501","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:08Z","sha256":"91ed6712277d8d72ca6949bb1765c9e0179856e7ecd28193c94b44fdb24567fd","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-criminal-law-13-1406","next":"us-md/md.-code-criminal-law-13-1502"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
