Code, Criminal Law § 13–1801","heading":"","body":"(a) In this subtitle the following words have the meanings indicated.\n(b) “Breakout ticket” includes instant bingo, Nevada club, lucky seven, and similar games.\n(c) (1) “Qualified organization” means a bona fide nonprofit organization qualified under 26 U.S.C. § 501(c)(3), (4), (7), or (10).\n(2) “Qualified organization” includes:\n(i) a religious organization;\n(ii) a volunteer fire company;\n(iii) a volunteer rescue squad;\n(iv) a fraternal organization;\n(v) a patriotic organization;\n(vi) an educational organization; and\n(vii) a charitable organization.","path":["Article - Criminal Law"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gcr\u0026section=13-1801","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:08Z","sha256":"7a455aaaeb928393e7d73e6850a4e80fd98b770f43d2d8185fecb252bbd96f9c","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-criminal-law-13-1706","next":"us-md/md.-code-criminal-law-13-1802"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
