Code, Criminal Law § 13–2116","heading":"","body":"(a) In this section, “senior activity center” means a community or neighborhood facility in which a broad spectrum of services are organized and provided to senior citizens and their spouses, including health, social, nutritional, educational, and recreational services.\n(b) A senior activity center may conduct a gaming event, bunco game, or card game in the center.\n(c) A senior activity center may not:\n(1) award a prize of money exceeding $50 to a winner in each session; or\n(2) charge a participant more than $25 to play one session.\n(d) Any money that remains after prizes are awarded shall be used to support future programming at the senior activity center.","path":["Article - Criminal Law"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gcr\u0026section=13-2116","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:08Z","sha256":"09e70c2461607d671c0fef973591f883dcb2da8b1143dde5a73ecf4be201e38c","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-criminal-law-13-2115","next":"us-md/md.-code-criminal-law-13-2201"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
