Code, Criminal Law § 13–2433","heading":"","body":"(a) Subject to the hearing provisions of § 13-2434 of this subtitle, the agency may:\n(1) deny a tip jar license or a wholesaler’s license to an applicant; or\n(2) in accordance with § 13-2437 of this subtitle, discipline a holder of a tip jar license or wholesaler’s license.\n(b) The agency shall deny a license to an applicant whose tip jar license or wholesaler’s license has been revoked.\n(c) If the license of a holder of a tip jar license or wholesaler’s license is revoked for two separate civil violations under § 13-2437 of this subtitle or a criminal violation under § 13-2424(e) or § 13-2438(a) of this subtitle, the agency may deny a tip jar license or wholesaler’s license to:\n(1) a corporate or limited liability entity applicant if 50% or more of the capital stock is owned by an individual, or an immediate family member of an individual, whose license was revoked; or\n(2) a partnership applicant if the partnership includes as a partner an individual whose license was revoked.","path":["Article - Criminal Law"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gcr\u0026section=13-2433","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:08Z","sha256":"d9e53a7ccefc68c5aa6cf0bdc5d5e1ca836932f28ed42183507f77d0d56adbe9","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-criminal-law-13-2432","next":"us-md/md.-code-criminal-law-13-2434"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
