Code, Criminal Law § 13–2610","heading":"","body":"(a) The charge for admission to a place in order to participate in bingo conducted under this part may not exceed $5.\n(b) (1) Except as provided in paragraphs (2) and (3) of this subsection, the value of a prize in money, merchandise, or services for any one game of bingo conducted under this part may not exceed $200.\n(2) Jackpot prizes may be offered in a maximum amount of $5,000.\n(3) “Winner Take All” games may be offered without a prize limit.\n(c) A licensee’s employees and the terms of their employment must be approved by the Department before they may conduct bingo under this part.\n(d) A minor may not be allowed to participate in bingo conducted under this part.\n(e) Bingo may not be conducted under this part in a room or area where alcoholic beverages are sold or served during the game.\n(f) A licensee under this part may not conduct bingo on more than 125 days in a year.","path":["Article - Criminal Law"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gcr\u0026section=13-2610","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:08Z","sha256":"0b63cd01cdb2f7a98605ebdd836d6cd96afd562ef9508412b7932aeaa3b0cd69","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-criminal-law-13-2609","next":"us-md/md.-code-criminal-law-13-2611"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
