Code, Criminal Law § 13–2623","heading":"","body":"(a) The county commissioners may not issue more than two multiple gaming device permits to an organization in any 1 year.\n(b) The county commissioners may not issue:\n(1) more than eight multiple gaming device permits for fundraisers to be held in any one facility in any 1 year; or\n(2) more than three multiple gaming device permits for fundraisers to be held in any one facility in any 27-day period.\n(c) A multiple gaming device permit issued under this part is valid for only one fundraiser lasting not more than 6 hours.\n(d) The county commissioners may not issue a multiple gaming device permit for use in Ocean City or on real property that is owned by Ocean City and located in the county.\n(e) The county commissioners may not issue a multiple gaming device permit to hold a fundraiser on premises that are licensed under a Class B or Class D alcoholic beverages license.","path":["Article - Criminal Law"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gcr\u0026section=13-2623","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:08Z","sha256":"5765e5ba42950130a0fd26c243e59dff7de79161b71655daff19225fc9ff3d27","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-criminal-law-13-2622","next":"us-md/md.-code-criminal-law-13-2624"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
