Code, Criminal Law § 13–906","heading":"","body":"(a) Notwithstanding § 13–903 of this subtitle and except as provided in subsection (b) of this section and § 13–906.1 of this subtitle, a person may not conduct a card game, dice game, roulette, or casino event.\n(b) (1) A senior center site council may conduct a card game in a senior center 5 days per week, excluding Sunday.\n(2) A senior center site council may not:\n(i) award a prize of money exceeding $5 to a winner in each session; and\n(ii) charge a participant more than $1 to play one session.\n(3) All money that remains after prizes are awarded shall be distributed to the senior center site council.","path":["Article - Criminal Law"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gcr\u0026section=13-906","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:08Z","sha256":"289bcd4e722d067ff306bcf4883e5d10ecb08a72eb5a42f1ded04ba514463982","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-criminal-law-13-905.1","next":"us-md/md.-code-criminal-law-13-906.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
