Code, Criminal Law § 5–307","heading":"","body":"(a) Subject to the notice and hearing provisions of § 5–308 of this subtitle, the Department may deny a registration to any applicant, suspend or revoke a registration, or refuse to renew a registration if the Department finds that the applicant or registrant:\n(1) has materially falsified an application filed in accordance with or required by this title;\n(2) has been convicted of a crime under federal law or the law of any state relating to a controlled dangerous substance;\n(3) has surrendered federal registration or had federal registration suspended or revoked and may no longer manufacture, distribute, or dispense a controlled dangerous substance;\n(4) has violated this title; or\n(5) has failed to meet the requirements for registration under this title.\n(b) The Department may limit revocation or suspension of a registration to the particular controlled dangerous substance for which grounds for revocation or suspension exist.\n(c) The Department may limit an initial registration or the renewal of a registration to the particular controlled dangerous substance for which grounds for denial or refusal to issue or renew exist.","path":["Article - Criminal Law"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gcr\u0026section=5-307","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:08Z","sha256":"ebf91c35405a82e24d6d5203386ffa1a180d45de6e68d89a976a38623cc7e399","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-criminal-law-5-306","next":"us-md/md.-code-criminal-law-5-308"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
