Code, Criminal Law § 9–706","heading":"","body":"(a) To enter a place or establishment in which a person is required to have an identification badge or identification card under § 9-704 of this subtitle, a person may not willfully:\n(1) make unauthorized use of an identification badge or identification card; or\n(2) assist another in the unauthorized use of an identification badge or identification card.\n(b) A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction is subject to imprisonment not exceeding 90 days or a fine not exceeding $500 or both.","path":["Article - Criminal Law"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gcr\u0026section=9-706","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:08Z","sha256":"dae362e69b465ae5fbbbc05a9bfd7707954ce8993c5212e385d401e8af73d083","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-criminal-law-9-705","next":"us-md/md.-code-criminal-law-9-706.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
