Code, Economic Development § 10–225","heading":"","body":"(a) The Authority may pledge or assign:\n(1) any of its revenues;\n(2) its rights to receive its revenues;\n(3) money or securities in accounts established to secure a bond; or\n(4) a lien or security interest granted or assignment made to the Authority.\n(b) (1) A pledge or assignment under subsection (a) of this section is valid and binding from the time the pledge or assignment is made.\n(2) A lien, security interest, or assignment under subsection (a) of this section:\n(i) attaches immediately to the revenues or property pledged and then received by the Authority, without any physical delivery or further act; and\n(ii) is valid and binding against any person having a claim against the Authority, regardless of whether the person has notice of the pledge, and without the recording or filing of an instrument.","path":["Article - Economic Development"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gec\u0026section=10-225","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:28Z","sha256":"a82c14f34dfa1e47c7887bc9f443563d1ad3f6e5f166f47cc34e82edef5cc38a","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-economic-development-10-224","next":"us-md/md.-code-economic-development-10-226"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
