Code, Economic Development § 10–508","heading":"","body":"(a) The Corporation is exempt from:\n(1) Title 10 and Division II of the State Finance and Procurement Article;\n(2) laws governing the State Personnel Management System under Division I of the State Personnel and Pensions Article; and\n(3) §§ 19–205 and 19–206 of the Local Government Article (Conditions upon Sale of Public Securities).\n(b) (1) The Corporation is subject to:\n(i) the Public Information Act; and\n(ii) subject to paragraph (2) of this subsection, the Open Meetings Act.\n(2) For purposes of the Open Meetings Act, a project site visit or educational field tour may not be considered a meeting of the Corporation if no organizational business is conducted.\n(c) The Board and employees of the Corporation are subject to the Public Ethics Law.","path":["Article - Economic Development"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gec\u0026section=10-508","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:28Z","sha256":"54068da2c6121e21bd68a3a6045746349b83cc4aa7c0b489108fef3d40793a3b","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-economic-development-10-507","next":"us-md/md.-code-economic-development-10-509"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
