Code, Economic Development § 10–518","heading":"","body":"(a) The Corporation may pledge or assign:\n(1) any of its revenues;\n(2) any of its rights to receive revenues;\n(3) money and securities in accounts established to secure a bond; and\n(4) a lien or security interest granted or assignment made to the Corporation.\n(b) A pledge or assignment:\n(1) is valid and binding against any person having a claim against the Corporation, in contract, tort, or otherwise, regardless of whether the person has notice of the pledge or assignment; and\n(2) has priority over the claim.\n(c) A resolution, trust agreement, assignment, financing agreement, or other instrument that creates a lien, security interest, assignment, or pledge under subsection (a) of this section:\n(1) shall be filed in the records of the Corporation; but\n(2) need not be filed or recorded elsewhere.","path":["Article - Economic Development"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gec\u0026section=10-518","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:28Z","sha256":"0ab0727410640c065257100d4331b7a68232ae00571b2ad728650064bf49de20","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-economic-development-10-517","next":"us-md/md.-code-economic-development-10-519"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
