Code, Economic Development § 10–832","heading":"","body":"(a) (1) The Director of the University of Maryland Energy Research Center, a University of Maryland faculty member, shall be the Director of the Institute.\n(2) The Institute Director shall appoint an Associate Director who shall be a University of Maryland faculty member.\n(b) The Institute Director, or the Institute Director’s designee, shall:\n(1) attend all meetings of the Institute Board;\n(2) act as secretary to the Institute Board;\n(3) keep minutes of all proceedings of the Institute Board;\n(4) approve all salaries, per diem payments, and allowable expenses of the Institute, its employees, and its consultants;\n(5) approve any expenses incidental to the operation of the Institute; and\n(6) perform the other duties the Institute Board directs in carrying out this part.","path":["Article - Economic Development"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gec\u0026section=10-832","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:28Z","sha256":"493326c502c830ab992c2007c57fcf66860eea300dd8a901b0fd710d0a2126c3","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-economic-development-10-831","next":"us-md/md.-code-economic-development-10-833"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
