Code, Economic Development § 10–858","heading":"","body":"(a) In this part the following words have the meanings indicated.\n(b) “Climate technology” includes:\n(1) solar energy;\n(2) wind energy;\n(3) energy storage devices;\n(4) grid modernization;\n(5) carbon capture utilization and storage; and\n(6) any other technology defined by the Center that:\n(i) reduces greenhouse gas emissions;\n(ii) mitigates the impacts of climate change; or\n(iii) provides a negative emission benefit in the electric, oil, or gas sector.\n(c) “Fund” means the Climate Technology Founder’s Fund.\n(d) “Qualified project” means a project related to climate technology.","path":["Article - Economic Development"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gec\u0026section=10-858","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:28Z","sha256":"8e4ee4ac04b954f8017dcc51f7603fd912617901b1b332b4b37ed12c0d4eb8ed","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-economic-development-10-855","next":"us-md/md.-code-economic-development-10-859"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
