Code, Economic Development § 13–1202","heading":"","body":"(a) There is a Regional Advanced Manufacturing Partnership of Maryland.\n(b) (1) The Partnership is a tax–exempt body politic and corporate.\n(2) The Partnership is an independent unit that the Governor may not place in a principal department of State government.\n(c) The purposes of the Partnership are to:\n(1) foster the economic development of the region by:\n(i) promoting collaboration among government, businesses, educational institutions, and entrepreneurs and innovators; and\n(ii) leveraging the established advanced manufacturing investments in the region, including the facilities at Aberdeen Proving Ground; and\n(2) position the State as a leader in advanced manufacturing.","path":["Article - Economic Development"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gec\u0026section=13-1202","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:28Z","sha256":"e8a94dd4275e3e00e4d3f608f99e1982738d08102728517502912a2cecc14813","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-economic-development-13-1201","next":"us-md/md.-code-economic-development-13-1203"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
