Code, Economic Development § 13–1206","heading":"","body":"The Partnership may:\n(1) adopt a seal;\n(2) sue or be sued;\n(3) adopt bylaws and rules for the conduct of its business;\n(4) enter into contracts and other legal instruments;\n(5) accept grants, contributions, or other assistance of any kind from the federal government, the State, a local government, a college or university, or other public or private source;\n(6) include in any contract for financial assistance with the federal government any reasonable and appropriate condition imposed under federal law that is not inconsistent with the purposes of this subtitle;\n(7) make grants from the Fund to further the purposes of this subtitle;\n(8) create, own, control, or be a member of a corporation, limited liability company, partnership, or any other entity; and\n(9) do all things necessary or convenient to carry out the purposes of this subtitle.","path":["Article - Economic Development"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gec\u0026section=13-1206","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:28Z","sha256":"f643557ba49ec5db48b0e5445742aad12ab194ff11ee4f7e277157488719195a","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-economic-development-13-1205","next":"us-md/md.-code-economic-development-13-1207"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
