Code, Economic Development § 13–303","heading":"","body":"(a) The Council consists of:\n(1) one member appointed by the County Executive of Anne Arundel County;\n(2) one member appointed by the Mayor of Baltimore City;\n(3) one member appointed by the County Executive of Baltimore County;\n(4) one member appointed by the County Commissioners of Carroll County;\n(5) one member appointed by the County Executive of Harford County;\n(6) one member appointed by the County Executive of Howard County;\n(7) one member appointed by the Board of County Commissioners of Queen Anne’s County;\n(8) one member of the House of Delegates who represents a district within Anne Arundel County, Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Carroll County, Harford County, Howard County, or Queen Anne’s County, appointed by the Speaker of the House;\n(9) one member of the Senate of Maryland who represents a district within Anne Arundel County, Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Carroll County, Harford County, Howard County, or Queen Anne’s County, appointed by the President of the Senate; and\n(10) one representative of the private sector appointed by the Governor.\n(b) A member appointed under subsection (a)(1) through (7) of this section serves at the pleasure of the appointing authority.","path":["Article - Economic Development"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gec\u0026section=13-303","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:28Z","sha256":"2273beb6b7bbf8762b11849f307a557acd71d8363370563fc425b4a8a952292e","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-economic-development-13-302","next":"us-md/md.-code-economic-development-13-304"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
