Code, Economic Development § 13–309","heading":"","body":"(a) There is a Baltimore Region Transportation Board.\n(b) The Board serves as the metropolitan planning organization for federal funding and certification as required by federal law.\n(c) The Board consists of:\n(1) the Mayor of the City of Annapolis;\n(2) the County Executive of Anne Arundel County;\n(3) the Mayor of Baltimore City;\n(4) the County Executive of Baltimore County;\n(5) the President of the Carroll County Commissioners;\n(6) the County Executive of Harford County;\n(7) the County Executive of Howard County;\n(8) the Secretary of Transportation;\n(9) the Secretary of the Environment;\n(10) the Secretary of Planning; and\n(11) as authorized under 23 U.S.C. §§ 134 and 135:\n(i) the chief executive officer or president of the board of commissioners of any other jurisdiction; and\n(ii) the secretary or chief appointed official of any other unit of State government.","path":["Article - Economic Development"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gec\u0026section=13-309","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:28Z","sha256":"753693c2938fe4f0d27471795839a1b09ba6b74760f1103a9c80fc952b95b3ad","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-economic-development-13-308","next":"us-md/md.-code-economic-development-13-401"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
