Code, Economic Development § 13–503","heading":"","body":"(a) The Board consists of the following members:\n(1) the Secretary, or the Secretary’s designee;\n(2) the Secretary of Transportation, or the designee of the Secretary of Transportation;\n(3) the Secretary of Information Technology or the Director of Network Maryland as the designee of the Secretary of Information Technology;\n(4) the chair of the Rural Maryland Council, or the chair’s designee;\n(5) the chair of the Tri–County Council for Southern Maryland, or the chair’s designee;\n(6) the chair of the Tri–County Council for Western Maryland, or the chair’s designee;\n(7) the chair of the Mid–Shore Regional Council, or the chair’s designee;\n(8) the chair of the Tri–County Council for the Lower Eastern Shore of Maryland, or the chair’s designee; and\n(9) the chair of the Upper Shore Regional Council, or the chair’s designee.\n(b) The Board shall elect a chair from among its members.\n(c) The Board shall adopt bylaws to carry out this subtitle.","path":["Article - Economic Development"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gec\u0026section=13-503","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:28Z","sha256":"3894d9832b26292536a25174945cf387dd4c2717e46d25adb9c1a634baa42e82","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-economic-development-13-502","next":"us-md/md.-code-economic-development-13-504"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
