Code, Economic Development § 15–101","heading":"","body":"(a) In this title the following words have the meanings indicated.\n(b) “Financial assistance” means a grant or loan from the Fund.\n(c) “Fund” means the Baltimore City Community Enhancement Transit–Oriented Development Fund.\n(d) “Qualified project area” means a community that is:\n(1) located in Baltimore City; and\n(2) directly impacted by and within 0.5 miles of the boundary of a development that has been designated as a transit–oriented development.\n(e) “Qualified recipient” means an entity that is based in and serves a qualified project area and is:\n(1) a nonprofit community–based organization that has experience in making physical, human capital, and economic investments to rebuild communities; or\n(2) a community development corporation.\n(f) “Transit–oriented development” has the meaning stated in § 7–101 of the Transportation Article.","path":["Article - Economic Development"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gec\u0026section=15-101","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:28Z","sha256":"e886ad8dce95bbbf6e2a5038a993d3e2637f58dab7c2b3f4f5138e34068516e9","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-economic-development-14-302","next":"us-md/md.-code-economic-development-15-102"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
