Code, Economic Development § 4–508","heading":"","body":"(a) The exercise of the powers and performance of duties of the Council under this subtitle is subject to the approval of the Secretary.\n(b) The Council may:\n(1) adopt regulations to carry out this subtitle;\n(2) enter into contracts and agreements;\n(3) obtain services;\n(4) ask any other unit of the State for assistance and data that enable the Council to carry out its powers and duties;\n(5) accept federal money for any purpose of this subtitle;\n(6) accept gifts, donations, or bequests for any purpose of this subtitle; and\n(7) carry out this subtitle.","path":["Article - Economic Development"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gec\u0026section=4-508","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:28Z","sha256":"e8f0d75bd22c42a90c324c04bceb4da72e92bacebbdf2bf34bf8109c75c40cde","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-economic-development-4-507","next":"us-md/md.-code-economic-development-4-509"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
