Code, Economic Development § 5–1203","heading":"","body":"The Program shall provide assistance to qualifying nonprofit entities, including:\n(1) operation of an information exchange governing current and new technical information and data about all aspects of nonprofit management, including:\n(i) nonprofit start–up;\n(ii) budgeting and financial management;\n(iii) facilities development and management;\n(iv) board development;\n(v) organizational development and strategic planning;\n(vi) marketing;\n(vii) federal and State contracting and grant making;\n(viii) individual, corporate, and foundation fund–raising;\n(ix) volunteer management;\n(x) personnel management;\n(xi) federal and State tax law and regulations;\n(xii) federal and State law and regulations governing charitable solicitations;\n(xiii) federal and State regulations applicable to licensing or accreditation;\n(xiv) federal and State financing programs; and\n(xv) information technology; and\n(2) individual consultation and technical assistance to any qualifying nonprofit entity that requests the service, including assistance on any of the subjects identified in item (1) of this section.","path":["Article - Economic Development"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gec\u0026section=5-1203","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:28Z","sha256":"6e4ca1f27f90d3ed1cf5668755bc4672624a4d0a083682421e789b8ada2f2c68","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-economic-development-5-1202","next":"us-md/md.-code-economic-development-5-1204"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
