Code, Economic Development § 5–2504","heading":"","body":"// EFFECTIVE UNTIL SEPTEMBER 30, 2026 PER CHAPTER 409 OF 2024 //\n(a) The Commission shall study and make recommendations regarding:\n(1) advancing bilateral trade and investment between Maryland and Ireland;\n(2) initiating joint action on policy issues of mutual interest to Maryland and Ireland;\n(3) promoting business and academic exchanges between Maryland and Ireland;\n(4) encouraging mutual economic support between Maryland and Ireland;\n(5) encouraging mutual investment in the infrastructure of Maryland and Ireland; and\n(6) other issues as determined by the Commission.\n(b) On or before December 1, 2025, the Commission shall report its findings and recommendations to the Governor and, in accordance with § 2–1257 of the State Government Article, the General Assembly.","path":["Article - Economic Development"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=gec\u0026section=5-2504","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:28Z","sha256":"c3102fb706ae291346bb0b07acd3538cacf980220fe7f634a20dcf4d4cde54e4","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-economic-development-5-2503","next":"us-md/md.-code-economic-development-5-2601"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
