Code, Education § 16–407","heading":"","body":"(a) The Board of Community College Trustees for Frederick County consists of seven members. Of the members:\n(1) Each shall be a resident of Frederick County; and\n(2) Each shall be appointed by the Governor, with the advice and consent of the Senate, for a term of 5 years.\n(b) (1) A member of the Board of Community College Trustees may not serve more than three consecutive 5–year terms.\n(2) A member of the Frederick County Board of Education may not serve on the Board of Community College Trustees.\n(c) Each member of the Board is entitled to $500 a year for expenses.","path":["Article - Education"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ged\u0026section=16-407","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:38Z","sha256":"045b83324c92a491362c63a008d931c4aa1dbbb24da744ae4d8596472b2eb6d1","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-education-16-406","next":"us-md/md.-code-education-16-407.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
