Rawlings Program of Educational Excellence Awards in this State that are awarded under this subtitle.\n(b) The Program shall consist of the following types of awards:\n(1) Guaranteed Access Grants that are awarded to the neediest students to ensure that 100 percent of educational costs, as defined by regulations adopted by the Commission, are paid; and\n(2) Educational Assistance Grants that are awarded to low and moderate income students to assist in paying educational costs, as defined by regulations adopted by the Commission.","path":["Article - Education"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ged\u0026section=18-301","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:38Z","sha256":"9b10f2ccf1a902716089398f1f90f0d29fce15670e27d33613597af8d234605e","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-education-18-206","next":"us-md/md.-code-education-18-302"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
