Code, Education § 18–3802","heading":"","body":"(a) There is a Maryland Police Officers and Probation Agents Scholarship Program.\n(b) The purpose of the program is to provide tuition assistance for students who are:\n(1) Attending an eligible institution and enrolled in a degree program that would further the student’s intent to become a police officer or probation agent after graduation; or\n(2) Employed as a police officer or probation agent, attending an eligible institution, and enrolled in a degree program that would further the police officer’s or probation officer’s career.\n(c) The Office shall publicize the availability of the Maryland Police Officers and Probation Agents Scholarship.","path":["Article - Education"],"source_url":"https://mgaleg.maryland.gov/mgawebsite/Laws/StatuteText?article=ged\u0026section=18-3802","current_through":"2026-01-01","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T19:57:38Z","sha256":"deb870f13b18ee890e50319145f15a6f4c465c849dccbd9dd083de043f804113","source_id":"us-md","stale":false,"prev":"us-md/md.-code-education-18-3801","next":"us-md/md.-code-education-18-3803"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
